The Kick-Off Brunch is approaching, I've been updating the website to try to include stuff that's coming up... seems like there's always something I've forgotten. Did I add it to Facebook? Have I checked InCircle lately? Sometimes I think I'm not keeping on this like I ought. *

So, hey, why not take on something new as well?

Yep, that's me. I am a new Fraternity Volunteer, an Alumnae Specialist for the Central Region (that includes Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska... Did I miss anything?). Fortunately my area is Indiana and Illinois (except the Chicago-area chapters), so I don't have great distances to cover. I join fellow IAC member Valerie Knoll, Rose-Hulman, on this team...

I think my new job will be encouraging the alumnae chapters that are struggling, helping chapters get the resources they need and answering their questions, and whatever else this entails... I'm excited and a little nervous about it. Me? A Fraternity Volunteer? I guess so.

* Do you wish things we kept more up-to-date here online? On Facebook? On InCircle? I would be glad to have technophiles join the communications team! Contact me and we can get started building our team. It would be a great way to get new people involved. Who knows? Maybe someday I'll have someone to hand off to. I mean, if they want me to be the next Fraternity President once my Alumnae Specialist gig is up... Okay. I will stop being delusional.
